Second Chances For Some Within Our Ranks

We continue to be linked with a long long list of players with only some signings, so I thought it would be refreshing to look at some of the players already on our books and their return to the Premier League with West Ham. The two players I think can show the fans and other teams they are now ready for the PL are Winston Reid and Ricardo Vaz Te, for both players their first time in the league was something of a write-off, so are they now prepared for the pace and strength of the big time again?

In Winston Reid's case it's safe to say a lot of Hammers fans didn't take to the New Zealand international during his first season at the club, from the off Avram Grant messed him about handing him his debut on the first day of the season against Aston Villa in an unfamiliar right back position. Making only 12 appearances, with only 7 in the league, in the 2010-11 season he wasn't given enough time to bed into the league and prove his worth, unable to shift Matthew Upson because of his failed captaincy status and with James ...
