Liverpool have been handed a transfer blow after Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita confirmed his desire to stay at the Nou Camp.
The 32-year-old had been expected to leave after making just 14 league starts last season and Liverpool are interested in taking him to Anfield.
But the Mali international, who is out of contract at the end of the month, insists he wants to finish his career in Catalonia.
